WATER BRAIN (Beautiful animation, a must watch!)

Water Brain Complete Edition(16:9) from Johann.Poo on Vimeo.

This is a story about mental pressure. In this story, the kids are constantly forced to bury themselves into their endless homework by those giant monsters behind them. The children's brains are filled with water that can be heated by tension. If a kid is overstressed, the water in their brain would boil and produce steam, which becomes the food of the greedy monsters and the energy of the whole city. Thus, those poor children repeat their lives day after day, serving as the power plant of their world, spending their childhood in tragic misery......

THE SWIFTY SHOW 2009

SWIFTY {UK} PRESENTED BY PROJECT MIDAS: [5th MARCH 2009]
THE SWIFTY SHOW 2009

One of the true British graphic originators of our time, Swifty has been hugely influential in music and youth culture since he started out in the late 1980’s. Fresh from art school he landed a job at legendary THE FACE magazine. Over the past fifteen years he has worked for ARENA, been the art director of Straight No Chaser magazine and founded the company Swifty Typographix.

Between 1990’s, his output reached a whole new level producing a diverse volume of distinctive record sleeves for seminal record labels such as Mo’ Wax, Talkin’ Loud and Source 360 including the labels iconic brand logos.

Since then, he has ventured into the realm of art which merges his now-iconic graphic styles with mixed media executions. For the first time ever, he will be exhibiting his work outside the UK in Melbourne, Australia (5th - 15th March 2009)

As an additional special touch to his shows, Swifty will interpret the graphics of local iconic brands in limited edition prints which can be purchase exclusively at the shows. This is definitely an event for all lovers of old and new school alike!
